......I am often asked, "what is Search Party" or "why Search Party." Or someone will say, "what kind of a name is Search Party ?" So here's the story.......A long time ago, I thought that I might make a fair guitar player. I was sitting around one day thinking about the whole "music" thing when it occured to me that "Search Party" would be a good name for a band. I mean, I really liked that name. In my mind it conjured up all sorts of images;.. searching for an escaped prisoner, or a lost mountain climber, or a lost child...searching for a party, or for the meaning of life, or for a better way of getting along with my horses.
